What's with the recent blog entries?

The deluge of recent entries were re-posted from my blogs.sun.com blog, written over the course of 2004. I re-posted them here because most of them represent proto-concepts in my head that I'd like to build on some more. I don't post to the Sun blog very often any more because it makes me feel constricted. This is not an anti-Sun thing any more than not wearing socks to bed is anti-sock, if that makes sense. Perhaps I'll look into ways to synergize the two blogs.
